We hear Kaushiki's story through her voice where in she introduces her friends as " Her friends and her murderers".Kaushiki is new in Ahmedabad she meets Mrityunjay who in turn introduces her to his friends...Maggie is the son of rich businessman, DK a stand up comedian, Nikki a rebel, Aditi works with an MNC as PR head and Mrityunjay is a management student. The group welcomes Kaushiki and they decide to celebrate her entry into their group...as everyone leaves for the party

S1 E2 . Episode 2: Ankush gets a warning
Maggie is in the hospital surrounded by his parents and friends where Kaushiki notices Maggie's phone ringing again and again. Maggie is threatened by Naushad in his hospital room to give him his share of money from the drug deal or face death. Nikki meets her elder sister Yamini at her house where Yamini tells Nikki that she is going on a date with Parimal her husband.

S1 E3 . Episode 3: This Day That Year
A flashback of Nikki's past where she is in an ICU with her father who is breathing his last breathes. They have a little conversation where her father thinks that he is talking to Yamini and then starts complaining about Nikki that he is worried she will spoil the family name. After getting out of the hospital Maggie tells DK, Aditi and Nikki that Ripu is coming to India from US. Aditi, DK and Ripu shared a past incident which Maggie is unaware about.

After the prayer service for Chris gets over at the hostel the Dean of the college asks Mrityunjay if he knows about anything that was bothering Chris. MJ tells the Dean that Chris was happy then the worried Dean tells MJ to cooperate with the cops and convince them that Chris was happy. MJ and Chris share a past, MJ had failed his first trimester exam but Chris had topped the exam. In their room Chris makes fun of MJ and insults him for being a duffer.
