Rajnikanth Sinha becomes the new District Court judge. The son of MLA Narendra Sinha, he can hardly do anything without his father puppeting him around. Unable to fetch a ticket from Patna, Narendra uses his son’s reputation of solving cases in one hearing to close all the corruption and criminal cases against his party members.

S1 E2 . Episode 2
Upon reminiscing about his wedding night, Rajni ends up blaming his father, Narendra for the missing of his wife. He recalls how he and Bulbul were about to get intimate when his father interrupted and broke the news that Rajni will have to leave for Bhagalpur the next day. The pent up frustration bursts on Narendra when Bulbul is nowhere to be found.

Dushrath reminds Narendra of what he informed him about Bulbul before the marriage was fixed. They recall how Rajni was to wed Bubul’s sister Koyal but due to his interest in Bulbul’s bold and strong personality, they decided to give the couple a chance. Officer Shakti appoints three other constables on the case to get hold of Bulbul quicker.

Rajni breaks down and isolates himself in a room full of Bulbul’s chats on social media. In one such chat, he finds Bulbul in a bet with a person who challenges that her groom would arrive on seven white horses. He then recalls how Bulbul was insistent that he get the white horses otherwise she would cancel the wedding.

Rajni resumes work, his case brings back horrific memories. The case of a helpless wife demanding 50 thousand rupees from her husband which she paid him in dowry reminds Rajni of when Bulbul refused to get married to him. He recalls asking his father to apologize to his bride and when even that did not help the reconciliation, Bulbul asks him to give her Rs 50,000

Rajini suspects that he would find a clue at Bulbul’s parents house and goes there to search her room. He goes through the album photos of their wedding and takes out a few pictures. He also finds a teddy bear in her room with a greeting card. He takes Inspector Shakti’s help in tracing the man and finding his wife. Meanwhile, Dushrath collects some papers and goes away to an isolated place to burn them.

Shakti and three other constables are put at task to find the man Justin Bieber who seems to be the man behind Bulbul’s disappearance. The police are quick on work and soon find out the real name of Justin aka Rakesh and lookout for him. The picture of Bulbul is made viral and the media comes to know that Narendra Sinha’s daughter in law has run away with someone else.

Narendra is unable to handle the backlash by the media on him and hence sends his maid in front of the media in a ghoonghat so that they would mistake her as Bulbul. Meanwhile, Shakti obtains sketches of Rakesh and Rajini recognizes him from one of the paan shops. Meanwhile, Dushrath is still busy with his secret tasks and is caught handing some documents to a man and Shakti taps his phone.

Rakesh learns that he is being searched by the police everywhere and willingly arrives at Narendra’s residence. Rajini lashes out at him and the incident is captured on camera and made viral. To protect his reputation, Narendra sends his son to jail. While he is inside the lock up, Shakti is still investigating the case and finds a big clue near the highway and also the information that something big is going to happen.

Bulbul is being launched as a leading actress in a Bhojpuri movie against Ravi Kishan. When Rajini finds out about it, he reaches the place of shooting, interrupts it and demands to talk to Bulbul who is now known as Bijli. He again professes his love for her and proposes to her to marry him again. He is humiliated and thrown out. He threatens everyone to commit suicide if his bride Bulbul does not return to him.
