Plot
Babbar Ka Tabbar is a ZEE5 Original web series starring Manu Rishi, Ayesha Raza, Bhavin Bhanushali, Avneet Kaur and Anshuman Jha. The story revolves around the Babbar family, who struggle to bridge the generation gap with their millennial kids. The parents and kids try their best to cope up with each other’s lifestyles which often gets them in hilarious situations.

Mr. Babbar coins a new term called ‘Frierents’ which means parents who are like friends to their kids. A mark on Nikki’s neck which seems like a hickey creates panic in the Babbar house. Mr. & Mrs Babbar think Nikki is dating Ranjit and Jamia suggests that Mr. Babbar should stalk Ranjit’s activity on Facebook. Meanwhile, Kittu gets beaten up by his father for copying a client’s signature on his cheque.

When a flower bouquet mistakenly reaches home, the parents assume Ranjit has sent it for Nikki. Jamia suggests that Mr. Babbar should invite Ranjit home for lunch. Nikki doesn’t like the fact that Ranjit is getting too pally with her parents and scolds him. Besides, she is also expecting a courier from an Australian university, the seriousness of which her parents fail to understand.

Nikki is fed up of the stories of her link up with Ranjit and blames Ranjit for spreading the rumours. Meanwhile, at the Mandolin class Kittu gets attracted to a student but later, on Ranjit’s advice,he decides to try a hand at fashion designing. Later, when Mr. Babbar visits his client Phoenix Punjabi, a fashion designer, Kittu gets inspired by the designer’s effeminate personality which bothers Mr. Babbar
